The Department of Psychology at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a full time, 9-month, recurring appointment Open Rank Lecturer II or III, to begin August 1, 2023.  The department seeks to hire a psychology instructor who can contribute broadly to its teaching mission by offering a range of undergraduate courses in psychology (e.g., introductory psychology, psychology research techniques, statistics, developmental psychology, social psychology, health psychology, cognitive psychology and upper level electives, etc.) both in face-to-face and online modalities.    Lecturers are expected to teach four courses each spring and fall semester.  Lecturers are also expected to engage in teaching-related service (e.g., departmental committee membership), professional development, or other departmental activities.  Additional scholarly activities may include mentoring undergraduate students, developing new courses, or otherwise furthering the department's...
