The Psychology Department in the Elon College of Arts and Sciences seeks applicants for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level with a focus on   Cognitive Psychology . The position will begin mid-August 2025. Applicants should have completed or expect to complete a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology (open area) by August 2025. Candidates with experience in basic-scientific research and/or interests in diversity, equity, and inclusion are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must show evidence of high-quality teaching at the undergraduate level. The ability to maintain a sustained research agenda that actively incorporates undergraduate mentees into one’s program of research is essential.
