The Department of Psychology at New Mexico State University invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in Cognitive Psychology, starting in Fall 2024 (Job #: 498461). NMSU is the nation’s only Land Grant institution that is also classified as both a Hispanic Serving Institution and a Carnegie High Research Activity Institution. We are looking for a candidate whose research interests fall within the domain of Cognitive Psychology, broadly construed, who can work with graduate students who aspire to career tracks both within and outside of academia. Minimal qualifications: A Ph.D. in Psychology (in hand by hire date). Preferred qualifications: Ability to contribute to teaching courses on Cognitive Psychology and closely related areas including, but not limited to Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience.
