The Department of Psychological Science invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month tenure track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2025 (R0064443). UA Little Rock is a doctoral-intensive metropolitan university serving a diverse student body of approximately 10,000 full- and part-time students. The Department of Psychological Science houses one of the largest degree programs at UALR with about 500 active majors, state-of-the-art classrooms, and both flexible and fixed laboratory resources (e.g., statistics, developmental, bio-behavioral, emotion-cognition laboratories.) Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology, ABD considered.
Preferred Qualifications: A focus in one of the following: Human Factors, Emotion and Motivation, Learning, Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, or Human Experimental Psychology; Experience teaching Psychological Statistics and Research Methods in Psychology; Existing scholarship in area of expertise.
