The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Behavioral Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology or related field (doctorate required). The position will begin during August 2025.
MSUB serves students from across the state and region, and our department is committed to offering courses that allow both in-person and online students to achieve timely graduation. The teaching load for assistant professors at MSUB is 24 credits per year with a three credit course release for research, and faculty teach courses in a variety of modalities, including in-person, online, and blended.
In addition to these teaching obligations, assistant professors at MSUB are expected to engage in service activities. Theses expectations are outlined in the collective bargaining agreement (available on the university website) and in department rank and tenure guidelines (available from the department chair).
