Job Description

Summary: The Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work on an NSF-funded project on reducing COVID and Flu vaccine hesitancy (see project description at https://www.ssrc.org/grantees/addressing-my-concerns-increasing-vaccine-uptake-through-tailored-interactive-decision-aids/). We are open to recruiting from a range of backgrounds including psychology, information science, and public health.
 This project examines topics related to educational interventions, risk perception, misinformation, and applied cognition. The candidate will work closely with Dr.'s Richard Lewis, Priti Shah, John Jonides, Aysecan Boduroglu, as well as their research staff and students. Successful candidates will have interests in the field of applied cognition and will also have experience with Bayesian data analysis or other modeling techniques.
