Job Description

The Stress & Motivated Behavior Institute (SMBI) centered at Syracuse Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SVAMC) has current and immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher focused on military and veteran health. The primary topics are: posttraumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, mild traumatic brain injury. Research studies are conducted primarily in veterans and animal models with a focus on etiology and rehabilitation. The successful candidate must be independently motivated, able to work in collaboration with others, have a high degree of attention to detail, and able to communicate clearly, apply appropriate statistical models, and write well.
