Assistant/Associate Professor of Instruction in Psychology (Non-Tenure Track)

We seek an outstanding educator committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and student success. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's instructional mission through teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, and service in one of the nation's largest and most vibrant psychology programs.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate psychology courses, developing and coordinating curriculum, mentoring students, supervising teaching assistants, and contributing to departmental and instructional initiatives. The teaching load is three in-person courses per semester.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field by the start date
• Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
• Commitment to effective instruction and student success
• Ability to teach across a variety of course formats and class sizes
• Availability to work in person in Austin, Texas

Preferred qualifications include experience teaching large-enrollment courses, coordinating multi-section courses, teaching innovation, and expertise in areas such as social, developmental, personality, or clinical psychology.
