Job Description

Pitzer College, a selective private liberal arts institution, invites applications for a visiting 1-year position (with possible consideration of a 2nd year) beginning August 2018. We are seeking a Full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology; the sub-area in Psychology is open, with some preference for individuals with a background in Developmental Psychology. The candidate would be required to teach 2 sections of Introduction to Psychology in the Fall 2018 semester, and 3 additional courses (which may include a practicum/laboratory class) to be agreed upon, in the faculty member’s areas of interest.
