Job Description

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship working on a collaborative project with Prof. Joe Kable in the Department of Psychology and Prof. Dave Wolk in the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania. Funded by the National Institutes of Aging, and located in the Penn Memory Center, the project seeks to examine how social and non-social decision-making linked to different forms of memory declines with age and is associated with preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease. The project will link experimental behavioral measures and functional MRI with molecular PET and structural imaging biomarkers of preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease. Previous experience with imaging, aging and/or decision-making research is preferable but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology or related field, strong computational skills, and a strong record of previous research. Penn offers an outstanding research environment and this position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative team science environment. The initial appointment would be for two years.
