Job Description

Full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Research Design and Analysis in the Department of Psychology beginning August 2019. Doctorate is required. ABD applicants will be considered, but appointment will be at the Instructor rank and all degree requirements must be completed by February 1, 2020. Must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and for developing a productive research program. Faculty assigned an instructional workload of six (6) course units per academic year for the first year. Beginning the second year the workload reverts back to the standard instructional workload of seven (7) course units per academic year. Teach courses in research design and analysis, including undergraduate statistics and research methods and occasionally courses in one’s area of expertise. May also include graduate courses. Possess and demonstrate commitment to teaching, research and service. Demonstrate research competency as well as evidence of continued growth of one’s research agenda, leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
