The Department of Psychiatry, University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a Director for its Center for Mental Health Services Research at the rank of Associate/Full Professor to lead its extensive program of mental health services research. The Center conducts clinical services and policy research focused on treatment of persons with severe mental disorders with a broad range of externally funded projects in the areas of clinical outcomes, cost-effectiveness, dissemination, and policy research. This includes oversight, management, and coordination of the DPSR faculty and collaborations with the VA. Successful applicant must have a doctoral degree in a relevant field (M.D. or Ph.D.); track record of externally funded mental health services research related field and strong leadership capacity.
Expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, rank and tenure status is dependent on candidate’s qualifications.
