Job Description

Researchers in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at CSU are looking for a research associate for a research study examining how older adults navigate the transition into senior housing (e.g., independent living, assisted living) with respect to their health, well-being, and personality changes. This study takes place at Colorado State University (CSU) or the older adults’ residence in the Larimer County region of Colorado. The research associate’s position will involve recruiting participants for the study, assisting with data collection and management, and supervising and training research assistants. Opportunities for this position include: (i) involvement in research on health, stress, and aging processes; (ii) training and supervision in lab management; (iii) mentorship from expert multi-disciplinary collaborators in the fields of psychology, human development, and prevention sciences; and (iv) encouragement and mentorship in development of research skills.
