Job Description

The College of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) encompasses three departments, which collectively house two Bachelor's, four Master's, a specialist, and three APA-accredited doctoral programs. In anticipation of growth in a number of programs, the College invites qualified applicants for several faculty positions. Candidates with specialization in neuropsychology, forensic psychology, behavioral theory, applied behavior analysis, statistics, and/or social psychology are especially encouraged to apply, although applicants with other areas of clinical or scholarly focus will also be considered.

Applicants will be reviewed for rank commensurate with experience and scholarship. The successful candidates are expected to have a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. Additionally, they must be actively involved in scholarship, with expectations to maintain an ongoing program of research, publish, and supervise student research. A track record of, or potential to secure external funding to support research is desirable.

Faculty will teach core psychology courses, as well as electives in their own specialty areas. For the clinical psychology positions, faculty will also supervise doctoral psychology trainees in their clinical work. The forensic psychology positions include an administrative component relating to oversight of the forensic concentration in the clinical psychology programs, or overseeing the M.S. program in forensic psychology.
