The Center for OCD and Related Disorders at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, directed by Blair Simpson, MD, PhD, seeks to hire a postdoctoral fellow for a 2 year position. Candidates should have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, or an MD or MD-PhD degree.
This position will involve joining Dr. Simpson’s research program, which is focused on translating science into new understanding and treatments for anxiety and OCD. Depending on the applicant’s experience and career trajectory, the position could include more clinical work, more clinical or biological research, or a mixture of both. There is a range of research studies that candidates could work on (see http://columbiapsychiatry.org/ocd). Given Dr. Simpson’s collaborations, applicants with an interest in genetics, imaging, experimental therapeutics, or mHealth are especially encouraged to apply.
