Job Description

The Psychology Department at the University of Minnesota Duluth invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical or Counseling Psychology to commence August 19, 2019.  The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to our teaching and research missions in our undergraduate and Master’s programs. The area of specialty is open; however, it is preferred that applicants have research experience in the area of clinical assessment, intervention, or prevention with expertise in multicultural issues, child or adolescent mental health, or clinical cognitive neuropsychology.  Required qualifications include: Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialty in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a highly related field completed by start date of appointment, 2) evidence of a strong research agenda, 3) experience conducting human participant research, and 4) commitment to working with diverse populations and fostering diversity across campus.
