Job Description

The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, a division of the Child Study Center at the Yale University School of Medicine, seeks a full-time postdoctoral research associate to join our research team on an innovative, multi-year study funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Drs. Brackett, Cipriano, and colleagues are building a suite of novel assessments, data points, and tools for understanding and improving the emotional health of students and their teachers. Come join our large network of experts as we systematically work to redefine how we understand school climate, inspire student voice, and support evidence-based teaching practice and skill-building.

The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for contributing to the design, execution, and analyses of pilot studies in Year 1, and in managing longitudinal data collection for assessment validation work in Years 2 and 3. The postdoctoral associate will be expected and supported to contribute to the production of scholarly artifacts from these data, including empirical articles and disseminating findings to the scholarly community. As a key member of our larger research team, spread across four lines of collaborative research, nested in pockets across the country, we seek a dynamic researcher who can be our thought partner and team player.
