Job Description

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral scholar position working under the supervision of Dr. Alia Crum within the Department of Psychology at Stanford University. The postdoc will work on new and existing projects pursued by the Mind & Body Lab, aimed at understanding the role of beliefs and expectations in shaping physiological health and will also have the option to work on various projects associated with Stanford SPARQ (Social Psychological Answers to Real World Questions).

Qualifications:

  • a PhD in psychology or related field by start date
  • excellent methodological and statistical expertise employing experimental, longitudinal, and/or assessment-development designs
  • experience conducting research using hormonal, immune, cardiovascular, or other physiological indicators (desired, but not required)
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • passion for novel research in the field of health psychology

Salary is competitive. Start date and length of position is flexible.
