Non Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Practice in Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 493793)
Applications are invited for appointment as Non-Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Practice in Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 493793), to commence on January 1, 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in Educational/School Psychology, with at least five years’ professional experience in the practice as educational/school psychologist, a good record of publication of original and professional work, as well as sound indictors of teaching abilities in educational/school psychology. The appointee is expected to integrate professional practice with teaching, be responsible for teaching courses and supervising students at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and assist in administrative work in the Master’s and Doctoral programmes in Educational Psychology. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
