The Department of Psychology at Amherst College invites applications for a tenure-track position in clinical psychology at the rank of assistant professor. We are seeking an individual who has completed the dissertation for the Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a research program that focuses on emerging adulthood or adult clinical psychology. The individual must have a Ph.D. in hand or have fulfilled all requirements for the degree by the start of the appointment. Responsibilities include establishing an active program of research and publication, teaching two courses per semester, and supervising senior honors research projects. The successful candidate will be able to develop a repertoire of courses including introductory psychology, abnormal psychology, research methods or a clinical lab class, and an advanced seminar.
