Job Description

Pediatric Consultation Center and Associates is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow (PsyD or PhD) for our growing outpatient private practice in Deerfield. A full-time, W-2 position, with benefits is currently available. 

PCCA is anestablished private practice offering individual neuropsychological evaluations, therapy for children and adolescents, parent consultation and family therapy. The position includes providing child and adolescent psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, as well as the opportunity to carry a small caseload of therapy clients. An approximate split of 80% testing and 20% therapy is offered, but can be tailored to an applicants’ interest. PCCA also works within the Lake and Cook county courts to complete custody and court ordered evaluations. An interest in family law is a plus, although not required for this position. We also encourage clinicians to bring their own ideas and energy to our clinic!

Post-doctoral candidates would be considered for a 12-month position that has the potential to extend the position at the practice. Starting date is negotiable. The postdoctoral fellow will receive weekly individual supervision by a licensed clinical psychologist. We are seeking a motivated, self- starter who have an interest in working in a group private practice long-term.

Applicants must have completed all requirements for their doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited university and an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship.


A successful candidate must demonstrate a strong interest in children and adolescents and have testing and therapy experience with a range of children.  He or she must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
