Job Description

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at DePauw University invites applications for a 1-year term position beginning August 2020 at the rank of Assistant Professor. Ph.D. or ABD in Psychology or a closely related field required. A successful ABD candidate would be hired at the rank of Instructor. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting, and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The successful candidate will be able to teach Introductory Psychology and Statistics. The department also seeks candidates with the ability to teach either Abnormal, Cognitive, Consumer, Developmental, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Teaching assignment is 6 courses per year, and funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
