Oscar Kaplan Postdoctoral Fellowship in Developmental Science. The Department of Psychology at San Diego State University (SDSU) is inviting applications for the Oscar Kaplan Postdoctoral Fellowship in Developmental Science. During this unique two-year Kaplan Postdoctoral Fellowship, funding is provided to develop a research program with guidance from a team of experienced researchers. Within the SDSU Psychology Department are several established research laboratories in the Developmental Sciences, including the Center for Behavioral Teratology, the Lifespan Human Senses Laboratory, the Child and Adolescent Anxiety and Mood Program, the Infant and Child Development Lab, the Culture and Child and Adolescent Services Lab, the South Bay Latino Research Center, Aging and Dementia Laboratory, the Developmental Psychopathology Laboratory, the Body Image, Sexuality, and Health Laboratory, and the Brain Development Imaging Laboratory. Kaplan Fellows must have received the PhD no later than August, 2021. Compensation will be approximately $53,076 annually, and will include standard benefits. There is the possibility of an additional stipend for teaching assignments within the Department of Psychology. The newly selected Kaplan Fellow will begin their training on September 1, 2021 and continue through August 31, 2023. Review of applications begins on December 1, 2020.
