Postdoctoral position (full-time) in Cognitive Psychology at the Institute for Experimental Psychology, Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, Germany (in the Laboratory of Ute J. Bayen, Ph.D.).
The applicant should have a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field (e.g., Cognitive Science) and strong research interests and experience in experimental memory research, especially prospective memory, metamemory, episodic memory, formal models of memory, memory development in children, and/or memory and aging. The relationship of memory (esp. prospective memory) with sleep, emotion, or depression is also of interest. ABD will be considered. We offer a competitive salary with generous benefits, and excellent research support. Teaching load is four semester hours (experimental practicum or SPSS course) and may be in English or German. The working language of the research group is English. The starting date for the position is April 1, 2021. The initial contract is until September 30, 2023.

Permit for entry into Germany will be granted under current regulations. The salary will be up to pay grade 13 TV-L, depending on the qualifications of the applicant. In principle, the employment can also be part-time, unless there are compelling official reasons opposed in the individual case. There is a dual-career opportunity as there is a current opening for a doctoral student in cognitive development.
