Assistant Professor of Psychology
Job Summary: The School of Health and Behavioral Sciences at Ohio Northern University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track position in clinical or counseling psychology at the rank of assistant professor.
Principle Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be expected to teach courses in the areas of clinical and counseling psychology (which may include personality, multicultural psychology, and clinical psychology) and general psychology courses (e.g., introduction to psychology and experimental psychology). Faculty maintain a 4:4 course load. Other one-credit courses in the major (e.g., orientation and capstone courses) are rotated among psychology faculty. Additional responsibilities will include advising undergraduate students and mentoring undergraduate involvement in faculty-led research.
Required Skills: A strong commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching at the undergraduate level.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD or ABD will be considered
Preferred Qualifications: Completed Ph.D
