GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Grinnell College Department of Psychology invites applications for one, one-year and two, two-year term appointments beginning Fall 2023. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Our energetic faculty teach a lively laboratory-based curriculum embedded within a natural science perspective. The department’s strong commitment to inclusivity is manifest by our record of success in attracting and retaining students from diverse backgrounds. Our innovative curriculum promotes inclusivity and enables exploration of the boundaries and interdisciplinary potentials of the discipline. Conveniently located between both coasts, our welcoming mentoring community supports the development of faculty and students alike. Research and teaching interests for the positions might include but are not limited to research methods in psychology; health, cultural, and/or multicultural psychology (one-year position); clinical, counseling, and/or personality psychology (two-year position); behavioral neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and/or sensation and perception (two-year position).
