Job Description

The Department of Psychology at Butler University (Indianapolis, IN) invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track Instructor position beginning August 2023. We seek a colleague who is committed to exemplary teaching and who will be able to support the building of inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student population.

The successful applicant will be able to teach Biological Bases of Behavior, Cognitive Processes, and/or Learning. Experience teaching courses in an area of specialization will further distinguish applicants. Please note that in-person teaching is required for this position.

The position requires an advanced degree in psychology, neuroscience, or closely related field (Ph.D. preferred, M.A./M.S./ABD accepted) at time of appointment.
