Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology
The primary responsibility for this person is to teach in-person undergraduate courses within their area of expertise, with special consideration given to those candidates who have taught research methods and /or statistics. Additional student advising and departmental service may be required. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in psychology and prior university teaching experience. This is a 9-month position with a 4-4 teaching load.

Assistant Professor of Psychology – Experimental/Law
Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position to begin August 2019. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, Legal/Forensic Psychology, or related area in Psychology by time of appointment with a strong commitment to undergraduate education, mentoring student research, advising, and supervising internships. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory psychology, research methods, and upper level courses among cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics, psychology and the law, and advanced research methods and statistics. We are particularly interested in applicants who will develop an active research program incorporating student collaborators and seek external funding. Prior undergraduate teaching experience, student mentoring, and research publications preferred.
