The Bradley University Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Developmental Psychology or closely related area beginning August 2018. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality undergraduate education, to meaningfully engage undergraduate students in research, and to maintain an active program of research. The candidate should be prepared to teach introductory and developmental psychology, as well as statistics and/or research methods. An interest in developing specialized courses in an area of expertise or in contributing to existing course offerings is encouraged.
Ph.D. in Psychology by August 2018 is required. The committee requests a cover letter, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, relevant (p)reprints, and three letters of recommendation. The candidate should also submit brief statements of teaching philosophy and future research activity. Information regarding how the candidate has or can contribute to diversity in teaching, research, or service should be provided either within the teaching and/or research statements or in a stand-alone diversity statement.
