Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Industrial/Organizational Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Lafayette College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning fall 2024. We seek applicants with expertise in Industrial/Organizational Psychology; area of specialization is open but those whose research adopts a justice, equity, and inclusion lens are especially welcome.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (degree conferred by August 16, 2024), experience teaching undergraduates, and an active research program.
The candidate will be expected to regularly teach PSYC 211: Industrial/Organizational Psychology and PSYC 239: Tests & Measurement and should be able to teach one or more of the following: Introductory Psychology, Statistics, and/or Research Design. Depending on the candidate’s area of specialization, there will also be opportunities to teach existing courses and/or develop additional courses that reflect the candidate’s expertise (e.g., first-year seminar or capstone courses). The teaching load is 2/2 in the first year, and 3/2 thereafter. All faculty members are expected to involve undergraduates in research and to mentor them in independent scholarships.
The Department of Psychology expects all its members to maintain active, productive, sustained programs of scholarship that result in publications.
