We invite applications for an Assistant Professor position in Social or Quantitative Psychology. Applicants whose work demonstrates a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities: Teach courses related to their area of specialization (social or quantitative psychology) and courses on research methods and/or statistics for the undergraduate program. The position requires excellence in teaching and advising, an active research program, and service to the department, the university, and the community.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Social or Quantitative Psychology or a closely related field by the time of appointment; evidence of teaching and scholarly potential; ability to teach and develop a broad range of undergraduate courses in their area of psychology; ability to teach courses in research methods or statistics; demonstrated ability to contribute to the university through teaching, research, service, and fostering an inclusive environment.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year university teaching experience.  Ability to serve as an advisor and research mentor to a diverse undergraduate student body. Evidence of strong methodological and statistical skills.

Date of Appointment: In the 2024-2025 academic year. First consideration will be given to completed applications received no later than November 1st, 2023, and will continue until the position is filled.
