The Department of Psychology at San José State University (SJSU) invites applications for a academic year, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Social Psychology with a research focus in one or more of the following: stereotyping, prejudice, or discrimination towards marginalized, stigmatized, and/or under-resourced groups, possibly related to health outcomes and health equity.
Applicants should have a demonstrated record of scholarship and an active research program relevant to the research topics listed above. Candidates should also be capable of teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as contributing to the mentoring of students.

The Department offers a BA in Psychology, MA in Research and Experimental Psychology, MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
