The post-doctoral fellow will have access to outstanding research resources and mentorship. Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on Suffolk County Mental Health Project (SCMHP). SCMHP is the longest-running longitudinal study of individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychoses, and has produced over 100 publications to date. The study began in 1989 by recruiting a county-wide, first-admission cohort (N=628). At follow-up year 20, we added healthy controls and unaffected siblings. We are now launching 35-year follow-up. Educational research conducted through the long-term collaboration between practitioners and academic researchers creates equitable outcomes for children and teachers in PK-12 education. In contrast with traditional academic educational research, such research-practice partnerships (RPP) prioritize investigating problems of practice through a process in which research agendas are collaboratively developed with the goal of improving schools. The Saint Louis Translational Fellowships in Education program provides training to early career educational researchers through an apprenticeship model working with multiple RPPs and local schools. The program enables early career educational researchers to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to conduct translational research for schools and transition into careers of service to the PK-12 education system. Andrew Schwartz (Computer Science and Psychology). Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow for a position on a study to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools for assessment of PTSD and related psychopathology. It aims to recruit 1,000 participants with clinical PTSD symptoms to complete daily video diary and standard symptom assessments for 3 months (>600 enrolled already). These data are unprecedent in mental health research, allowing investigation of hypotheses that were previous untestable. AI models will be trained using language, speech, and facial expressions to detect and predict PTSD symptoms. The resulting models will be validated against standard clinical measures. Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on the Adolescent Development of Emotions and Personality Traits (ADEPT) project, a longitudinal investigation of a cohort of 550 early adolescent girls who are currently being followed-up for the 7th wave at age 26. This will enable us to model trajectories of internalizing and externalizing psychopathology and related mechanisms across 12 years of development.
