The typical teaching load for this position is four courses per semester (8 per academic year). Teaching assignments will include general courses such as introductory psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, and research methodology courses that both the undergraduate graduate level, and may include both traditional and online formats, with additional courses based upon the candidate's area of specialization. The Georgetown Laboratory for Relational Cognition , directed by Adam Green, anticipates hiring a research coordinator. The position will focus on an NSF-funded study of concept development and reasoning in real-world high school education, and will also involve contributions to lab-based studies on cognitive and neural mechanisms of creativity. Responsibilities will include outreach to students and families as well as teachers and school administrators. Depending on level of interest, the research coordinator will have substantial opportunity to engage with all aspects of the project, including collection and analysis of behavioral and brain-imaging data. The research coordinator position will assist with research on smartphone technology usage, prospective memory functioning, and Alzheimer’s disease in Michael Scullin's laboratory at Baylor University.  This position involves a significant amount of patient-facing time for study participant data collection. The research coordinator will also be involved in project organization, community outreach, and data presentation, and will collaborate with clinical scientists at UT Austin Dell Medical School and Baylor Scott & White Healthcare.
