The Psychology Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks candidates for an assistant professor of practice to begin August 2023. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, nine-month academic position that is renewable every three years. Primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses, including large sections required by the major, and contributing to the service/engagement mission of the department. If the successful candidate is licensed, there will be opportunities to provide clinical supervision to doctoral students in our APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Training Program. It aims to recruit 1,000 participants with clinical PTSD symptoms to complete daily video diary and standard symptom assessments for 3 months. These data are unprecedent in mental health research, allowing investigation of hypotheses that were previous untestable.
