Postdoctoral fellow position (2-3 years) available on an NIH-funded project headed by Drs. Renee Thompson and Tammy English (Co-PIs) along with Todd Braver (Co-I) in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. The project (R01AG070139; Neural and motivational mechanisms of age-related change in emotion regulation) examines the role of motivation and depressive psychopathology in age-related changes in emotion and emotion regulation across adulthood. The multi-method project utilizes diagnostic interviews, experience sampling, behavioral measures, peripheral psychophysiology assessment, and neuroimaging. This position will expose the individual to a wide array of theoretical and methodological approaches in psychology and neuroscience, providing a unique opportunity to develop research skills and engage in professional development with a large, collaborative team.
