Description: Dr. Sarah Schnitker at Baylor University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. The post-holder will work on a variety of projects across five main areas of emphasis: understanding the mechanisms of virtues, virtue and religious development, virtue development in sport, virtues and technology, and religion and virtuous intergroup engagement. The post-holder will hold a leadership position for a major research initiative focused on spiritual/religious, moral, and psychological developmental factors that promote thriving in adolescents (“Character Strength Interventions in Adolescents: Engaging Scholars and Practitioners to Promote Virtue Development,” $2.6 million, John Templeton Foundation).
