VA Connecticut Healthcare System is recruiting for several two-year funded Advanced Fellowships open to psychology postdoctoral fellows. VA Connecticut is affiliated with Yale School of Medicine and has annual research grant funding around $40.5 million across 163 active Principal Investigators. Centers at VA Connecticut focus on substance use (MIRECC), clinical neuroscience of PTSD, health services research and program evaluation (PRIME, NEPEC) and more.
VA Advanced Fellowships are two-year mechanisms that include research mentoring, grant-writing training, and clinical supervision, and are designed to build the next generation of clinician-scientists. Psychology postdoctoral fellows have been very successful at obtaining two- or five-year career development awards.
