The Program Coordinator position is essential to the mission of maintaining a $2.4M National Institute of Health (NIH) undergraduate research training grant. The position combines mentoring and administrative duties and will directly support the principal investigators of the grant. The Program Coordinator will independently manage and monitor placement of 12 student trainees per year in the appropriate academic year and summer program training positions. The position will be responsible for human resources administration by interviewing, hiring and maintaining payroll processes for student trainees; including onboarding, training and verifying/approving timesheets.
