The Department of Psychological Science at Albion College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in neuroscience (specialization open), beginning August 2020. We seek candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports equity and diversity and are especially interested in colleagues who can teach and advise students of diverse backgrounds in a liberal arts college. Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching undergraduate courses in introductory neuroscience, courses in their area of specialization (e.g. behavioral, cognitive, social, or developmental neuroscience) and have interest in/experience teaching introductory psychology and research methods and statistics. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to contribute to all-college programs (Honors, First-Year Seminar, Interdisciplinary programs). The teaching load is 3/3 and candidates will have an active research program that involves undergraduate students and holds the potential for peer-reviewed publications. Research space and start-up funds are available. Ph.D. at start date (August 24, 2020) required.
