Lab Manager
Position summary: Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Professor Larisa Heiphetz, the Research Staff Assistant will support research activities in Columbia's Social and Moral Cognition Lab ( columbiasamclab.weebly.com ). Studies in the lab focus on children's and adults' moral cognition, with some studies investigating connections to religious cognition and/or to the criminal justice system. Typical responsibilities include assisting with creating stimuli, recruiting participants, coordinating data collection, organizing and maintaining participant database, ordering supplies and facilitating the preparation of forms and reports (e.g. IRB documentation). In addition to assisting with on-going projects, the lab manager will have an opportunity to develop his or her own studies.  This is a one-year position with the strong expectation of renewal for a second year and possibility of further renewals for additional years. Start date can be arranged with Professor Heiphetz and is expected to be sometime between June 1st, 2020, and September 1st, 2020.
