Assistant Teaching Professor - Psychology   The Department of Psychology at Syracuse University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position at the rank of assistant teaching professor beginning August 2021. The initial appointment may be for up to three years, and is renewable dependent on program need and instructor performance. The candidate in this position must be able to teach a variety of large sections of psychology courses. The ability to teach introductory psychology is strongly preferred. In addition, the candidate should be able to teach undergraduate courses related to developmental, social, or cognitive psychology. The Department of Psychology at Hofstra University invites applications for an anticipated full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position in Clinical Psychology beginning September 2021 . Candidates with interests in any area of child, adolescent, or adult psychopathology and psychological treatment, are encouraged to apply. The position is primarily for the Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology, although some undergraduate teaching is possible as well. Our Ph.D. program follows the scientist-practitioner model and faculty members clinical orientation is primarily cognitive behavioral (e.g., cognitive therapy, behavioral analysis, exposure therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy).
