The Department of Psychological Science at Ball State University announces one tenure-track assistant professor position in psychology beginning August 17, 2020. Ball State is committed to supporting faculty who deliver high quality teaching, create research opportunities, and foster close student-faculty mentorship. Responsibilities include: teach graduate and undergraduate classes in the psychology programs; remain current in and contribute to research in specialty area; contribute to the service activities of the department and discipline. Minimum qualifications : Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution. ABDs will be considered if doctorate obtained by date of appointment. Employer will consider sponsorship. Preferred qualifications : The successful applicant will be interested in making significant contributions to the master’s programs and have a research program that will complement current research interests in the department and that can involve both undergraduate and graduate students. While any area of research related to clinical psychology would be welcome, special consideration will be given to applicants who bridge programs or contribute to departmental emphasis in one of the following applied and/or basic areas: neuroscience, psychopathology, research with children or older adults, and/or diversity.
