Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. Degree in Clinical and/or Counseling Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral program Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship and post-doctoral residency training in neuropsychology Licensure or eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists Board certification in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish and English) Training and experience in performing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher Position Description: Provides direct patient care by administering neuropsychological testing, scoring and evaluation for adult neurological, psychiatric and neuro-psychiatric condition. Provides neuropsychological expertise in patient care in general neurology and neurology subspecialty clinics Teaches neurology and psychiatry residents and medical students in both clinical and classroom settings Performs academic research and scholarly activities by participating in the collaborative projects with colleagues in the Department of Neurology Participates in committees and other administrative duties as assigned by Chair Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations; adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility.
