The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence seeks a full-time postdoctoral research associate to join the Emotion Revolution in the Workplace research team (PIs: Dr. Zorana Ivcevic Pringle & Dr. Marc Brackett). The primary objectives of this project are to develop and test a new measure of emotionally intelligent behavior in school leaders. Previous research has shown that leader emotionally intelligent behavior is related to employees’ emotional experiences at work, as well as their work behavior and achievement. In the present project, we seek to expend this research by developing a multidimensional measure and test the role of leader emotionally intelligent behavior for employee outcomes in educational settings. The MIDUS Affective Neuroscience Project team led by Dr. Stacey M. Schaefer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Institute on Aging is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to analyze and publish on data from the national longitudinal Midlife in the US study. MIDUS is an NIA-supported study on aging explicitly focused on all the adult years (25-100+) with multiple longitudinal timepoints over the past +20 years.
