Wesleyan University’s Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of neuroscience beginning July 1, 2025. We seek a broadly trained cognitive neuroscientist with research focused on any area in cognitive neuroscience, including but not limited to motor control, sensory processing, object recognition, language, attention and cognitive control, higher-level cognition, learning, development, social cognition, and emotion. The ideal candidate will have a high-quality research program focused on human populations and/or computational methods. They will mentor undergraduate research and will be prepared to teach an introductory course in Neuroscience, two specialized courses in an area of expertise, and one course in statistics, or research methods. The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2024-25 academic year (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025). The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in social, cognitive, or developmental psychology.  Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester and will include courses such as General Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, as well as courses in the candidate’s area of specialization.
