The Reed College Psychology Department seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Learning or Comparative Psychology to begin August 2023. The selected individual will teach four courses (two each semester), including a core course with lab, a team-taught introductory psychology course with lab, and two seminars in their area of expertise. In addition, the person will supervise year-long senior thesis projects and work closely with staff overseeing an animal research colony. Qualifications include a Ph.D. (by August 2023) and research that focuses on non-human animal models to study behavior. As part of an international research project on developing effective interventions to counter false information in India, the Cambridge Social Decision-Making Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate, who will work on a project that enables information literacy and resilience to false information online. Specifically, the candidate will work on the development and testing of a series of instruments aimed at reducing susceptibility to and sharing of false information on social media in India.
