Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology
Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology, tenure-track, beginning in August 2020. The College seeks a new faculty member to teach a wide variety of undergraduate psychology courses while developing research opportunities suitable for the inclusion of undergraduate psychology majors. Applications are especially welcomed from those committed to teaching, who value liberal learning, and are prepared to teach Psychological Assessment, Research Methods, Industrial and/or Cognitive Psychology, as well as courses in areas of personal interest.  Requirements include a Ph.D. in Psychology and teaching experience teaching at the college level.  The successful candidate will need to support the Holy Cross Mission and Catholic identity of the College and its expectation of service to the institution and surrounding community.  Send one .pdf file containing a letter of application, CV, statement of teaching philosophy, statement of research interests, and undergraduate and graduate transcripts to hrjobs@kings.edu .  Three letters of recommendation must also be provided to receive full consideration.  Applications preferred by February 1, 2020.  Only complete applications will be reviewed. Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track): Computational Cognitive Neuroscience
The Carnegie Mellon Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University intend to make a joint tenure-track faculty hire in the area of Computational Cognitive Neuroscience . Candidates should be pursuing programmatic, theory-driven experimental research that contributes to our understanding of the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive processes and/or interactions between cognitive and social, perceptual, or sensory processes. We are especially interested in candidates who will thrive in a collaborative research environment, have strong grounding in theory, use cutting-edge methods, are dedicated to high-quality teaching, and have strong training in computational approaches to understanding neural processing and cognition.   Carnegie Mellon is a highly collaborative and supportive environment for scientists seeking to span disciplines and employ multiple methodologies in their research.
