The Department of Psychology at Smith College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Cognitive Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 01, 2024.  Successful candidates should be prepared to engage actively with a diverse range of students across the liberal arts. Teaching responsibilities for this position will regularly include two courses per semester (sometimes two sections of the same course): a course in the Introductory sequence (e.g., Introduction to Psychology or Research Methods), introductory and intermediate Cognitive Psychology courses, and an upper-level seminar on a topic related to the applicant’s research expertise. The Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences program and the Psychology Department at Wellesley College invite applicants for a joint tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor, beginning September 2024.  Our Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences program is interdisciplinary with courses in linguistics, psychology, philosophy, and computer science, and our Psychology Department emphasizes empirical research in diverse subfields. We seek a candidate whose research program is in cognitive science or a related field.  Candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level while maintaining a commitment to their research specialty.
