The Department of Psychology at Smith College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Cognitive Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 01, 2024.  Successful candidates should be prepared to engage actively with a diverse range of students across the liberal arts. Teaching responsibilities for this position will regularly include two courses per semester (sometimes two sections of the same course): a course in the Introductory sequence (e.g., Introduction to Psychology or Research Methods), introductory and intermediate Cognitive Psychology courses, and an upper-level seminar on a topic related to the applicant’s research expertise.
